Depending on your healthcare needs, your virtual visit provider may recommend that we see you in-person for an in-clinic lab test to verify your diagnosis. If you need to be seen in-person, we make it easy. Whether you need testing for strep, COVID-19, the flu or other health concerns, our clinics are equipped to offer convenient diagnostic testing that will deliver reliable results quickly, so you can start recovering as soon as possible.

The cost of a virtual urgent care visit will vary based on your specific insurance plan. We also offer self-pay options, with a set price of $75 for a telehealth urgent care session.

If you're experiencing a serious emergency or life-threatening condition, an urgent care virtual visit isn’t appropriate. For true emergencies, always call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Telehealth urgent care appointments are best suited for injuries or illnesses that are not life-threatening, such as mild colds, allergies, rashes, or minor sprains. However, if your condition requires urgent intervention, or if you're unsure about the severity of your symptoms, it's always safer to err on the side of caution and seek in-person care immediately.

Preparing for your virtual visit is essential to ensure a smooth and effective interaction with your healthcare provider. There are several steps you will need to follow.

• Device and browser compatibility: Download Google Chrome if you plan to use a desktop computer. However, all mobile browsers will work for your virtual visit.
• Ensure device readiness: Check your device's battery life to avoid interruptions during the visit. Close unnecessary programs to ensure reliable connectivity. Double-check your internet or mobile service signal strength for a stable connection.
• Set up for quality sound: Find a quiet space to minimize interruptions during the visit. Use earbuds with a microphone or a headset to facilitate clear communication between you and your provider.
• See and be seen: Ensure good lighting by using overhead lights and blocking glare from windows. If using a mobile device, position the camera at eye level to ensure your provider can see you.
• Dress appropriately: Wear appropriate clothing that allows easy access to areas of concern. For example, if the visit involves an issue with your arm, wear short sleeves.
• Decide if you need help: In instances where you may need to show hard-to-reach areas, consider having someone assist you by holding a flashlight or directing the camera for a thorough evaluation by your provider.
